Remember That Time When...?

Here are a few of our favorite flashbacks that highlight our culture of customer care.


Faster Than a Speeding Gavel

Morley is proud of its continuous management of the largest legal settlement program in automotive history. This story starts in 1992 and remains active some 15 years later, making it also the longest-running legal settlement program. In the course of this time frame, the program has risen from a dozen active staff members to hundreds of active staff members, then back again. Turn it on, turn it off, turn it on, turn it off ... each time the result of different trials in different states.

During the course of this program, milestones mandated by multiple state supreme courts required sufficient staffing resources to manage the database of over 7,000,000 vehicle owners.

In one instance, after a particularly lengthy session of one state supreme court, the court required that our client reinstitute a fully functioning program headquarters of some 150 trained staff within five days from a veritable mothballed state of operations. No small challenge for the Morley team.

Hiring the people was the easy part. Training them and having them feel experienced enough to deal with some of Morley's top clients in less than a week was another thing altogether.

Morley's expert team members sprang into action, mobilizing associates to hire, train, moderate, supervise and service the client, all in a period of time that was acceptable to the court. Dedicating massive resources, cross training, instituting overtime and maintaining quality control checks were all techniques employed to be ready by the mandated day.

Mission accomplished! In four days (instead of five, as the court had required), Morley was ready. The client heralded Morley's effort as a superhuman feat – one that none of us will soon forget.
